Nancy Johnson resides in Wareham Massachusetts with her husband Mark, and her prized Dobermans and Boston Terriers.
Nancy purchased her first Doberman in 1978, and has never looked back. Wanting the best for her Doberman, Nancy and her husband went into obedience training which led to obedience competitions. From this training Nancy and Mark not only built a fondness for their dogs, but for the Doberman breed. This led them to pursue showing their dogs in confirmation, and the kennel Manarjj was born.
Nancy’s passion for dogs goes beyond the obedience and show rings. She has maintained and operated a grooming and boarding kennel for over 30 years. In addition, she has had active involvement in various Doberman clubs, and co-founded the Plymouth County Dog Training Club in 1980. Nancy has participated in every aspect of the show world. She has been an owner/handler, handler, a show steward, breeder, and even participated in the organization of national events.
As a judge, Nancy is approved on Doberman Pinschers, Boxers, Rottweilers, Great Danes, Siberian Huskys, Bullmastiffs, Pugs, Boston Terriers and Jr. Showman ship. This wide ranging experience gives Nancy a unique understanding and perspective.
Among her accomplishments as an owner, breeder and handler are various confirmation and obedience titles on dogs in three breeds, including two Top 10 Doberman Champions as well as Top 10 Boston Terrier Champions.
